Connecting an Aircard to a Router

Suppose you live in the country. Property tax is low and life is good... except of course for the fact that your high speed Internet connection is through a USB aircard. How's that supposed to connect to your router and provide an Internet connection to all the computers in your home? In this tutorial, we'll setup a Ubuntu 9.10 Linux box that accepts an Internet connection from a USB aircard and converts it to a ethernet connection that can be plugged into a standard router.
Monitoring Bandwidth in Linux

Perhaps you download Linux distros, Windows release candidates, and constantly listen to music on last.fm like me... and have Asian roommates who like using the Internet too! If so, you may have also thought at one time or another, "Shoot! I'm about to go over my monthly bandwidth." If you're running Linux, you can use iptables, the standard Linux firewall, to track your bandwidth usage.
